Infant Program
Our Infant Program at Little Harvard Daycare supports babies from approximately six weeks to 12 months in a warm, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environment.
We know that infants thrive with consistency and connection, so we work closely with families to understand each child’s individual feeding, sleep, and comfort needs. Teachers prioritize familiar routines that help ease transitions, support growth, and create a sense of security from the moment your baby arrives.
Throughout the day, infants are supported in key areas of early learning:
Responsive Care
Each child is cared for with warmth and attention, forming trusting relationships with teachers who respond to cues and nurture emotional well-being.
Language and Communication
Caregivers engage infants through talking, reading, singing, and gentle interaction to support early communication and social awareness.
Sensory and Motor Development
Through supervised floor play, age-appropriate materials, and safe movement experiences, infants build strength, coordination, and sensory understanding.
Comfort and Rest
We work with families to honor each infant’s rhythm for naps and quiet time in a calm, soothing space.
Our goal is to provide an environment where infants feel secure and supported while exploring sights, sounds, and simple interactions that lay the foundation for future development.
